Following our exciting announcement of being shortlisted for three Red Rose Awards 2026, we were proud to take the next step in the journey as Katie, Matt, and Sara attended the presentation and interview day at Turf Moor, Burnley.
The day was an incredible opportunity to share the story behind Prosperity Children’s Services — who we are, what we stand for, and the passion that drives our work every single day. Standing alongside so many inspiring organisations from across Lancashire was both humbling and energising, reminding us how fortunate we are to be part of such a vibrant and innovative business community.
Representing Prosperity at this stage of the awards was a moment of real pride for our team. The presentations allowed us to reflect on how far we have come, the impact we are making, and the values that continue to shape our journey:
- Ambition – striving to grow, develop, and deliver even better outcomes.
- Compassion – placing children, families, and our team at the centre of everything we do.
- Integrity – being honest, transparent, and accountable in our work.
- Resilience – facing challenges with determination and strength together.
Katie, Matt and Sara shared how meaningful the experience was, describing it as an emotional and proud moment to stand and talk about the work we do with such passion and purpose. Being able to articulate our vision, achievements, and future aspirations reminded us why we do what we do, and how powerful it is when a team comes together around shared values.
While the outcome now rests with the judges, we feel incredibly proud of what was presented and confident that we showcased the heart and dedication that defines Prosperity Children’s Services.
Most importantly, this journey already feels like a win. It represents the collective effort of an amazing team whose commitment and belief continue to shape a bright future for our organisation and the communities we support.
We would like to thank the Red Rose Awards team and judges for creating such a supportive and inspiring experience, and we congratulate all fellow finalists — it is truly an honour to stand alongside you.
Now, we look ahead with excitement to the awards night. Whatever the result, we are proud of how far we have come together and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
